The clay from Impruneta has always been a synonym for the quality and durability and this is still true today. The clay is still processed in the traditional way: it is fired at high temperatures and this leads to a high degree of frost-resistance. Today we use this clay to produce goods which even gain in value and fascination as time goes by. The irregular forms and ornaments are never quite identical and are as such a sign of the exquisite handicraft. This also explains the slight variation in size and weight of he objects enhancing the uniqueness of each single item.
