CARBONE MASSIMO
The artisan Massimo Carbone, uncommon in
his generation, followed the antique techniques and craft of the
Imprunetian School through a 10 year internship with one of the
greatest masters Mario Mariani, “cotto” artist par excellence called
respectfully, the last Etruscan.
The production of Massimo Carbone is not
just typical pots and vases it surpasses all boundaries utilizing the
potential offered by “cotto” from Impruneta.
Its great resistance and
porous quality give an antique look by way of a thin film of mold that
accentuates the irregularities of the handmade piece’s surface. This
increases the value, as time goes by without damage to the piece.
Visiting our showroom you can admire a beautiful range of products;
sinks, wall hangings, tables, fireplaces and on and on, to small
trinkets that are purely for décor. An original and suggestive
collection of hand painted tiles and clocks by the local artist Arianna Nesi.
